*Opens up Word* Nope, definately has been made up by the dictionary people before. To tell you the truth though, I'd be a hell of a lot more scared of someone trained in the art of fighting with a fan (or whipchain, or flute, or cane, or nunchucks, or lashstaff, or three-section staff, or a giant metal ring, or spinning spikes, or a flail, etc.) than someone trained in fighting with any kind of normal blade. It takes serious skill to fight with the unorthodox weapons, a level of control most swordmasters only dream of having. -_-
